The U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt has offered to host Ivy Circle members for a Happy Hour with Consul General Brian Heath from 5:30-7:30 pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

ABOUT THE CONSULATE
The Consul General and his principal officers direct the activities of the United States Consulate General in Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Consulate is the largest U.S. consular post and one of the largest diplomatic missions in the world. The Consulate serves the American resident community – including members of the Armed Forces and their families, business people and retirees – and assists many other visitors to Frankfurt.
Brian Heath, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister-Counselor, assumed his role as Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt, Germany, in August 2024. Mr. Heath most recently served as the Minister-Counselor for Management Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, India. He was Mission India’s Acting Deputy Chief of Mission from January 2021 to November 2022.
Since joining the Foreign Service in 1998, Mr. Heath has held numerous leadership roles, including Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General in Karachi, Pakistan; Minister-Counselor for Management Affairs at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations in New York; Director of the U.S. Regional Embassy Office in Al Hillah, Iraq; and Principal Officer at the U.S. Consulate in Lahore, Pakistan. Mr. Heath also held positions in Berlin, Germany, and Mumbai (Bombay), India. In assignments to Washington, DC, Mr. Heath served as Acting Director of Policy, Planning, and Resources for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs; a Senior Advisor in the Under Secretary of State for Management’s Office of Management Policy; a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of State for Administration; and studied at the National War College. He is the recipient of multiple Department of State Superior and Meritorious honor awards.
